Concrete brings us a brand new Japanese watering hole and dining experience at Izakaya in Hotel Roomers, Munich.
Hotel Roomers in Munich stands out for its Japanese restaurant, Izakaya in an incredibly unique way. The restaurant announces its presence via its show kitchen visible through the glass facade of the porte-cochere. This kitchen block continues inside the lobby as a jewellery case covered in gold mirror – also the restaurant’s main entrance!

Black and gold dominate the colour palette here with a contrasting feature of light wooden lamellas along the ceiling and wall. Gold cladding uplifts the space especially through the backlit bar top, with a warm yellow marble finish that makes every drink sparkle. While the bar is a highlight element, one cannot miss the show-stopper i.e. the oversized wooden Koi-carp lamp. Typically Japanese, this lamp would’ve probably overpowered the design had it not been so dynamic!

Seating zones are created by introducing silk-printed rotating panels that are also black mirrors and level changers. The rotating panels serve many purposes: they can either connect or separate the space depending on the angle of rotation. While on one side, a Japanese-inspired artwork on silkscreen by artist Gijs Scholten anoints it; the other side is clad with a black mirror with different settings. In the early evening, the whole space can appear as one; while during the after-hours, the bar can be cordoned off to establish a darker and cosy mood that lasts deep into the night. This element helps the space adapt to its clients allowing for a truly transformable experience.

Increase your performance in water with a women’s impact vest and keep

We all know the reason why we get into the water with swimming costumes, vests or wetsuits. The only reason is our performance improvement. They help give us better freedom of movement and buoyancy. The impact vest of women increases buoyancy in the water and thereby helps you in your performance in water sport activities such as diving and surfing. This activity puts pressure on posture and balance but maintaining buoyancy is also important in water sports, especially if your body has to drown water. Carrying capacity can only come when your clothes are designed in such a way as to create a low density impact. Wearing a women’s impact vest is almost mandatory for activities such as kiteboarding where they provide great help to help you stay afloat. Its thickness is about 2mm-3mm and can also be used for comfort on a summer day or for extra protection against cold winds.
Another costume is a wetsuit worn by most divers and female surfers. The wetsuit’s main job is to give you buoyancy and also keep you warm from cold water. However, that does not mean you can not wear wetsuit in warmer weather conditions. Wetsuits are not only made for a colder climate but also made for a warmer climate as well. Either the material can be different or you can have a wetsuit springsuit woman. Springsuit is a special wuituit of thinner material and shorter length. Sometimes also known as shorty, the foot of the spring suit reaches to kneel or just a few inches below the knee and the arms are usually short sleeves. Proven from the design they create for warmer weather conditions where you have to stay calm in the water. They are easier to slip than full coverage and help you stay comfortable in warmer waters. However, they give you the same buoyancy and help your appearance in the same way.

Increase your performance in water with a women’s impact vest and keep

Choosing the right type of wet suit can be a little complicated. But if you are a diligent surfer or if you want to explore this sport, you must have both types of wet clothes for all weather conditions. A relatively new person with these terms and types of wet clothes should do a little research to understand which type of wetsuit suits your needs.

Both spring suits and impact vests are easily obtainable in sports shopping stores with different colors and patterns. This is done keeping in mind that women love a dose of fashion in every field. Sports clothes need not be bland and boring. You can choose to wear colorful life jackets and spring suits instead of choosing basic colors such as blue and black. The design of trendy underwear with a zip cover on the front makes them easier to slip just before you hit the water. Try to bring some excitement in your sport to give yourself extra energy and liveliness to perform better in style.

Water sport activities such as kiteboard require you to wear a women’s impact vest to get better buoyancy in the water. Shorter and shorter wetsuits, known as womens springsuit wuitens can give you help and comfort in a warmer climate. Increase your performance in water with a women’s impact vest and keep

Use screens and vents. If your family loves the fresh breeze that open windows provide, simply make sure that there are screens in the window frames. This prevents pests from coming inside. Vents and grates should also be placed over chimneys to prevent animals from coming in.

Understanding the Weather of the Galapagos

Understanding the Weather of the Galapagos

The Galapagos Islands are blessed with a climate that means there’s never really a bad time to visit. Visitor numbers to each of the islands are strictly monitored by the national park conservancy, however, so most wildlife holidays in Galapagos tend to be in the same peak periods in order to minimise the impact on the habitat and animal species.
While the archipelago is on the Equator, the weather is not tropical. It has its own microclimate that could best be defined as sub-tropical in nature. There are two seasons – the dry season and the wet season – and, while it can be visited year round, the best wildlife holidays in Galapagos tend to be centred around the months between November and February.

Fast Facts on the Galapagos Climate

• The weather in the archipelago is governed by the ocean currents. It is at the convergence of three major currents: the Humboldt, the Panama and the Cromwell.

• Even though the archipelago is located in the tropics it has a unique microclimate, which is surprisingly dry.

• The El Niño weather phenomenon occurs every 5-7 years, causing sea levels to rise markedly.

• The El Niño effect can have a negative effect on the marine wildlife of the islands – particularly the sea lions and Marine Iguanas.

• In the warm season, temperatures average from 27ºC to 32ºC and water temperatures are between 21ºC to 26ºC.

• In the dry season, temperatures average from 21ºC to 27ºC and water temperatures are between 18ºC to 24ºC.

• The warmest months are January and February, while the coolest are from May to September.

• Due to its equatorial position, the archipelago has an equal number of daylight and darkness hours throughout the year.

The Warm Season: December to May

The most popular time for wildlife holidays in Galapagos are the months between November and May. Both the air and water temperatures are higher and it is peak breeding time for land birds and nesting turtles.

Although this time of the year is classified as the rainy season, there is also plenty of sunshine around. Periods of rain are usually short (although daily), interspersed with warm, sunny stretches. The islands are teeming with active wildlife and the warmer oceans provide calm seas and better visibility, making the perfect conditions for snorkelling and swimming.

The Dry Season: June to December

In the dry season, the Humboldt Current coming from the southernmost reaches of South America sets a chill in the ocean and the trade winds bring colder and often stormy weather. Mist settles around the high altitudes – this is the time the highlands are at their most verdant and lush. Due to the nutrient-rich waters brought by the southern currents, there are huge numbers of fish in the waters surrounding the archipelago. This results in a greater number of seabirds, including penguins and albatross. However, the chillier oceans are not quite as appealing for snorkelers or divers, and guided wildlife holidays in Galapagos are not as frequent.

How the Weather Affects Biodiversity

The islands’ three distinct ecosystems are all strongly affected by the weather patterns. In the years of El Niño, the terrestrial region is abundant with flower and fruit bearing plants, which also causes an increase in the populations of insects and birds. The marine ecosystem thrives with the arrival of the Humboldt Current, but the colder oceanic temperatures mean that the seaweed on which the Marine Iguanas and sea lions rely as a food source is greatly diminished. This causes problems not just in the immediate population, but also sees a decline in reproduction. In the years of La Niña (which produces the opposite conditions to El Niño), the reverse of all these effects is true in all three ecosystems.

The purpose of these attires should also be kept in mind before choosing. For example, if someone is preparing to hit the warm water, he should choose a different outfit when compared to others who are ready to hit the very cold water. Most of these attires are approved coast guards so you can assure their quality. This is perfect for water sports and oars.

Neoprene life jackets help people who wear them to float in the water. This life jacket is useful for a number of risky businesses. They may or may not have a built in foam. They can be of two types basically – a life jacket with a single air space and a life jacket with double air space. There are various kinds of buoyancy tools on the market. However, it is a bet to select neoprene buoy jackets and not these buoyancy aids because they provide more buoyancy than tools.

Some of them have a full zipper on the front for easy glides. It’s so light that users may not get stuck. Usually this comes with a double belt to ensure better safety so stay in the right place.

Safety is always important, no matter which activity you like. In today’s world, and everything is much more advanced and modified than the past. Neoprene life jacket is a must when in the water. Services Performed by the Best Roofing Contractor in Dacula

If it gets to your roof, there should be no compromise. You have to keep your roof in the best condition, because it protects your whole house. Leakage does not necessarily indicate that you need a new roof, but it can be a big problem if you do not have it repaired immediately. Make sure your roof remains a solid protective barrier with regular inspections and servicing when required from the best roof contractors in Dacula. Your house depends on it.

Roof Replacement

Grandfather of the roof service is a total replacement, and you should expect to do this every 25 to 30 years approximately. Some roofs last longer than that, but for the most part, the top of your house will start failing on the 25 year deadline. Services Performed by the Best Roofing Contractor in Dacula

Waiting to replace your roof until it’s absolute necessity does not always make sense, because the fundamental damage will end up costing more. If your roof is old and you will get killed every time it rains, ask the roof contractor’s help at Dacula to remove old ones and install new ones.

Repair Not Replacement Services Performed by the Best Roofing Contractor in Dacula

A good contractor will improve if possible. He should understand your budget issues and do his best to diagnose the problem and fix it. He must also be honest and tell when to change. This is important, because you do not want to pour money constantly fixing when you need to replace.

If you are worried, the contractor should exit and check your roof. He must make a leak diagnosis and solve the problems found. He should also be able to make improvements to your fascia, soffit, skylight, ventilation, and home delivery. A good contractor will be experienced in replacing the chimney hat, flashing installation, and other exterior elements.

When an Insurance Company Needs to Be Called

If your roof is damaged by a storm or other event that is covered by your homeowners insurance policy, the contractor should be willing to help file a claim with your insurance company. This may not be a repair service, but it is a service that needs to be done. The roof contractor can better explain to your sustainable roof damage insurance adjuster and the materials and labor needed to correct it properly. This will help the claim process run more smoothly.

If you need a full roof replacement, the contractor can also explain the reason to the insurance company. You can pay a monthly premium for your coverage, but this does not mean the insurance company will only write checks. Many are against the claims, especially if they require total replacement. This is why contractors willing to work with your insurance company are the best. You can leave a bargain for experts.

If you believe your roof is damaged by a storm or has been compromised in other ways or if you just want your roof inspected to make sure everything is fine, contact a professional roofing contractor at Dacula. They will check your roof and suggest any worries and corrections required.

12 tips for flea market shopping

12 tips for flea market shopping

Endless stalls of invaluable heirlooms, modern gadgets and vintage clothing await you at a flea market but it’s so easy to miss out on these really treasured items. You could end up spending hours in one market stall and then have to speed through the rest, or you could get lost, wandering around in circles visiting the same stalls endlessly. It’s important to plan for the ultimate flea market shopping experience, and here are some ways to get the most out of your day.
Great tips for flea market shopping

1. Get a map
It’s not unheard of to get lost at a flea market which means missing out on some really great stalls so try source a map of the market ahead of time and plan your route accordingly. Get a feel for the market’s layout because most markets will generally place similar stalls in the same vicinity so you can decide where to go first. If you’re really diligent you can take note of the stalls you enjoyed or where you purchased items for a return visit another time.

2. Get there early
It’s always best to get to a market before the crowds arrive and while the stalls are still full and you can broswe the stalls and view the mehandise. Once your shopping is done you can enjoy the live enetrtainment or a bite to eat.

3. Make a day of it
A day at the flea market is a fantastic experience for the whole family so, rather than rushing through the stalls, make a day of it. Get in early for breakfast, take your time perusing the stalls while the children enjoy the fresh air and fun kids activities on offer. There are usually great discounts at the end of the day, so if you stick around, you’re bound to get some great deals.

4. Check out the entertainment
Flea markets often provide local musicians and entertainers with a really worthwhile platform to break into a new audience. It’s always encouraging to support the local talent and you might tap into an artist you’d never heard of before. Enhance your shopping experience with the day’s entertainment!

5. Take cash
Although there may be ATMs on site, the queues could be long and these portable ATMs often run out of cash. Added to this, some sellers won’t accept debit or credit cards so it’s worth taking cash – particularly smaller bills – to the market. Be sure to keep this in a secure bag which isn’t easily evident.

6. Wear comfortable shoes
Flea market shopping is not the time to break into your latest pair of high heels. Opt for a comfortable pair of walking shoes as you don’t want your market experience cut short because of painful feet.

7. Ask about pick-up policies
If you buy a big item, make sure you ask the seller about the pick-up policy. If you can only collect it in a day or two, make sure they will hold the item for you.

8. Choose your haggles
Don’t waste your, or the seller’s time haggling over a price if you’re actually not serious about buying. If you really do love the item and feel it’s somewhat overpriced, then a market is certainly the place to negotiate a price. Don’t be scared to try out your haggling skills but be courteous about it.

9. Go with an open mind
A flea market is not a retail store so don’t expect to find exactly what you want in mint condition. A market is the perfect place to find items with real potential so go in thinking of ways to re-purpose interesting finds, rather than passing them by. Cosmetic repairs are easy fixes so do some haggling and come away with a great bargain.

10. Don’t miss a good opportunity
If you find something you really love, it’s fine to take some time to consider whether it’s worth the price and haggle for the best deal, but if it’s something you really want, don’t walk away. Chances are, there will be a few people who visit the stall later and snatch it up.

11. Take a collapsible cart
If you’re going to take this market shopping seriously, then it’s worth taking a collapsible cart – or similar trolley device – with you. This frees up your hands, allowing you to browse easily and also means you won’t have aching arms carrying items just one hour in.

12. Check whether the market is pet friendly
If you couldn’t consider market shopping without your four-legged friend, then just check ahead if the market allows for pets. Many do cater for pets – on a lead – but make sure you clean up after your beloved pup.
